² Then he sent men with news to the city of Ahab king of Israel, saying, “This is what Ben-hadad says. ³ ’Your silver and gold are mine. Your most beautiful wives and children are mine also.’” ⁴ The king of Israel answered, “It is as you say, my lord, O king. I am yours, and all that I have.”
